In the Peer Leadership class at Brookline High School, we worked collaboratively to develop presentations to teach middle students about drugs, domestic violence and other challenges they will face in high school.
In 2015, I won a Town of Brookline Youth Award in recognition of my contributions in the Peer Leadership class. The Award celebrates and recognizes the special contribution of young people that have made a difference in the community.
Many thanks to all my classmates and Jorge, my peer leadership teacher (middle), who nominated me for the award.
