T. NINA PITTAS

flute

As 4th grade rolled around, I had to choose an instrument to pursue. My mother and her two sisters all played the violin or was it viola? I'm really not a string person and brass wasn't my thing, which left me with the clarinet and the flute. My neighbor and good friend played the flute, and her aunt gave lessons, so the flute was an easy choice.

I have now been studying flute for six years, and have developed a love for the instrument. I would love to share tips I have gathered throughout the years with young flute beginners.
